Manzherok, new ski resort in Altai Republic opnes its doors for tourists for the first time on the December, 17. The tourists are offered one ropeway and one T-bar lift.
      
      Path length is 1 kilometer, later it is supposed to increase it as well as amount of paths. Freeriders are welcome on Manzherok. They have a possibility to use 3 km slope with 700 meters vertical drop.
      
      Three hotels of resort are ready to take 150 guests. There are many also hotels within 30 kilometres around resort. Air connection between Novosibirsk and Gorno-Altaisk has been opened by beginning skiing season. According to Altai tour operators, tickets for the first flight are already sold. Moreover, there are charter buses from other Siberian cities like Kemerovo, Tomsk and Barnaul.
      
      Manzherok ski resort is situated at the bottom of Sinyukha mountain, not far from the lake Manzherokskoe. It was planned to open ski resort in October, 2010, but infrastructure was not yet ready. And now not all of 32 pistes and 15 lifts function. Key account in the hotels will also increase soon.
      
      When everything will be ready, total length of pistes is to reach 60 km, vertical drop - 820 metres. Ski resort is planning to take 400 thousands of tourists a year.
