Gazprom to spend 130 million dollars on Russian Olympic team

Gazprom could become the main sponsor for Russian athletes trainings for the summer Olympic games in London and Sochi Olympics.
      The agreement on this issue will be signed until the end of this year or at the beginning of 2011. According to Vedomosti, the funds will be allocated in the form of donations. The amount of the funds is unknown, but there are some suggestions that it won't be less than the cost of the similar program in Canada during the preparations for the Olympics in Vancouver (more than 110 million dollars). According to Vedomosti, costs amount can exceed 130 million dollars.
