New rules for traumatic guns carrying

      According to the Ministry of the Inferior of Russia, 65 people were killed with a traumatic gun over the past 5 years. More than two thousand crimes have been committed with a traumatic gun since 2005, injuring 468 people.
      From December, 2010 a preventive operation have been carrying to check gun owners, during the operation about 5200 traumatic guns have been confiscated and 1187 licenses annuled.
      After a series of severe crimes with traumatic weapons, it was decided to tighten a turnover of traumatic weapons in Russia. A special law was signed to introduce amendments to the law on arms trafficking. Under the new rules, traumatic guns get the same status as firearms. People have to take courses before dealing with it and pass an exam every 5 years.
