Unique Monument on Russky Island out on a Limb

Unique monument of federal value the powder cellar of the Vladivostok Fortress erected in imperial times in Primorski Territory on Russky Island is collapsing by the minute.
What the time has not ruined, vandals go on destroying. Restorers are ready to bring the unique construction back to its original state, but cannot start their work.
Vandals have cut off a lot of metal constructions: they have taken away around 200 tons of metal. A year ago metal hunters destroyed the ventilation system in ancient cellars by cutting off air shutters. As a result, metal constructions which had remained there intact for as long as a century, have already corroded.
Powder cellar 13 of the Vladivostok Fortress was constructed by the military engineer Voronov in imperial times. According to historians, the construction is unique. Underground storehouses were constructed for a full due with consideration of all military needs.
