Metallurgical Works Threatens Ecology of Tyumen

The metallurgical works being built since 2006 and its work will irreparably harm the ecology of Tyumen.
Such conclusion was made as the result of the projects public expertise carried out by a group formed by the board of ecologists of the Community Council of Tyumen.
The harmful industry can provoke acid rains that the Tyumen marshy soil will absorb like a sponge. After some time the land surrounding the factory risks to turn dead, so it is knowingly that Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk have rejected the factory project.
On the assumption of the available project documentation, as well as bitter experience of building of other environmentally hazardous properties, it is already obvious that if the building and putting into operation of the metallurgical factory is continued, the environment and population of Tyumen and the Tyumen Region will be harmed significantly, and rights of the citizens, first of all those inhabiting the factory district will be violated.
