The Leopard has won 28 % of votes at the official voting, the Polar Bear has got 18 % and the Hare –16%. The mascots of Sochi Paralympics are the Ray of Light and the Snowflake. The mascots were chosen as the results of a public vote during the live television show "Talismaniya Sochi 2014 - The Final” on Channel One. The Russians were voting by sending a text message to the number “2014” or calling a free phone number for each mascot candidate. The final results of the vote were announced at 11.20 pm on 26 February.
