Radiation plume from Fukushima threatening the US Coast

Radiation plume from tsunami-stricken Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant will go through the Pacific on Thursday and affect the Aleutians. After that, on Friday evening the radiation plume will cover the Southern California and USA south-west, including states of Nevada, Utah and Arizona.
      This prognosis has been prepared by Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) by United Nations. However, the experts say that level of radiation concentration in the plum will be low and may cause very low negative consequences for USA tenants in the worst case scenario.
      Earlier it was reported that there was no danger of spreading radiation in because of Fukushima alert for the Far East. Now the situation can be corrected.
      Concerning to the Russian Far East, the radiation level are being monitored permanently at 30 meteorological stations.

      dumped tonnes of water to try to prevent a meltdown of fuel rods. The problem is that the pools are empty. This lets the rods to heat up faster. Increasing alarm has been expressed in the US at the crisis.
