Archeologists have unearthed ruins of an ancient city in the Krasnodar Territory.
      
      It was constructed by Greeks as far back as two and a half thousand years ago. Judging by the remains of ancient constructions, it was quite a big city, and most likely, even an independent state. The archeologists’ find denies the historic fact assuming that in those antique times (6th century AC) the Hellenes (i.e. the ancient Greeks) just started to investigate the Black Sea Coast. Besides, the discovered ancient city was located in steppe, though earlier it was considered that the Greeks had built settlements only at the seashore.
