Cat Steals Gold Ornaments from its Owner

A cat has stolen gold ornaments worth 90 thousand roubles from its owner in the Sverdlovsk Region.

A woman called to police in the town of Kamensk-Uralsky and complained that while she had been at work her gold ornaments worth more than 90 thousand roubles had been gone.

The police officers who arrived at the scene of crime did found traces of neither gold jewelry nor house-breaking. So, suspicion fell on close friends and relatives of the aggrieved woman. Next day, however, she again called the police and informed that there was no need looking for the loss, since she had established and detained the thief on her own. She even managed to return most of the stolen jewels. It was her cat who turned to be the filcher. In the morning the woman saw her pet carrying her gold ring in her teeth. After a short search she also found other ornaments hidden by the cat all over the apartment.
