Russian math genius Grigory Perelman explained why he has rejected a $1 million cash prize for solving the world's most arduous mysteries.
"Emptiness is everywhere and it can be calculated, which gives us a great opportunity ... I know how to control the universe. So tell me, why should I run for a million?", said the genius, according to the RIAN.
Perelman was awarded by the Clay Mathematics Institute in Cambridge for proving the Poincare conjecture and refused to take the award. The Russian genius lives with his mother in St. Petersburg and avoids press. His neighbours say he lives in poverty.
Five years ago Perelman refused to recieve the Nobel Prize of mathematics in Madrid. He also rejected job offers at several top universities in the U.S.
