Russians Think Our Science Is Close to Collapse

About 70% of Russian citizens consider the state of the Russian science to be “more or less satisfying or bad”, according the poll of Russian Public Opinion Research Centre.
      
      1600 volunteers participated in the poll about current state of the Russian science. Only 5% of respondents think that everything is OK with science in our country mostly young people (18-24), who actively use internet.
      
      Older people, who are not that active in the world wide web, were not so positive in their answers. About 1/5 of respondents confessed that they know nothing about science in their region.
