Japanese carmaker Nissan's plant in St. Petersburg will suspend operations from May, 30 to June, 3, due to some problems with engine deliveries from Japan.
The company plans to resume normal operation on June, 6, to synchronize working process with the delivery schedule from Japanese plant hit by the March earthquake.
According to Tatiana Natarova, spokeswoman of Nissan Motor Rus, the suspension of production is planned and it is linked to the interrupted delivery of the 16-cylinder engines due to the situation in Japan. She noted, that the company expects to restore the full production situation by October, 2011.
