Russian Ugly Duckling Goes on International Release

Ugly Duckling - the first full-length animation film by the Russian director Harry Bardin goes on general release at European cinemas.
      
      The Film Boutique company got the rights to screen the film based on Hans Christian Andersens famous fairy tale in Europe.
      
      The film will be released in France, Scandinavia, and the Baltic countries. The world premiere of Ugly Duckling took place on the Locarno International Film Festival on August, 11th, 2010.
      
      The film soundtrack includes pieces from Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovskys ballets The Swan Lake and The Nutcracker.
