The Peoples Artist of the USSR actor Aleksey Batalov and his brother archpriest Mikhail Ardov have addressed Moscow mayor with an offer to found Anna Akhmatova Museum in their parents apartment.

It is now possible to recreate the two main rooms, the one, where Anna Akhmatova used to stay and the other, where Boris Pasternak recited his poems, Arkady Raikin and Faina Ranevskaya performed, and where Dmitri Shostakovich and Mikhail Zoshchenko used to dine, the letter of Aleksey Batalov and Mikhail Ardov reads. They also mention Aleksey Batalov, Lydia Chukovskaya, Joseph Brodsky, and Yuri Nikulin.
