No more lasers in airports, please

Rosaviatsiya is looking for hooligans, who was dazzling the pilots of civil aircrafts. Two last incidents happened in the airport of Postov-on-Don on June, 3 and 7.Crew team was attacked by green laser rays in the moment of landing approach. Rosaviation asks all the people and organizations not to shine at aircrafts with such powerful light devices.

Most cases like this happened in the airports of Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo. Last time was yesterday in Rostov-on-Don at 22.30 MSK. The dazzled crew managed to land an aircraft Boeing-735 with 97 passengers on board. Fortunately the landing was happy and nobody got hurt.

Earlier, on June, 3 the same thing happened with pilot of Airbus A320 of Avianova air company. Liner was making flight Moscow-Rostov-on-Don. Captain reported to flight operations director that pilot had been dazzled for a few minutes by a green ray.

The sources of lights aren't still detected, but there are two main versions. First, it could be part of festive illumination of one of amusement places. According to the second one it could be hooligans, attacking the crew cabs of aircrafts. Such incidents have begun in Russian airports not long ago. in 2010 5 such incidents took place, while in 2011 already more than 30.

Rosaviatsiya is asking to tell about such incidents with laser attackers because such tricks invite real danger.
