Moscow Planetarium Finally Opens to the Public

Moscow Planetarium, which has been under reconstruction for 17 years, will finally welcome visitors from June 12, 2011.
Reconstruction story of the Planetarium was not an easy one, starting in 1994. However, now the museum is six times larger, than before reconstruction with new exhibition halls and a 4-D cinema. Stellar dome of the Planetarium is the largest in Europe.
Exhibitions halls are: Large Hall of Stars, Museum of Urania, Astronomy platform, Lunarium interactive museum, Sky Park with two observatory towers and Small Hall of Stars.
