 Russia Banned Imports from 14 Countries due to Intestinal Infection

Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance temporary banned import of agricultural products from 14 countries in connection with an intestinal infection, spreading in the EU. 

      In particular, there is a ban on import from a dozen German companies, five Belgian companies, two Spanish companies, one Dutch and one Swedish enterprise. In addition, a monitoring regime is also imposed on 64 companies from 21 countries, including 19 enterprises from five European countries.

      In addition,  the Federal Agency for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision has also banned the imports of meat from three Brazilian states, by reason of the violations of the Russian sanitary requirements.
