A hotel of international group Intercontinental will open in Moscow in the street of Tverskaya. Tverskaya is one of the oldest Moscow streets within walking distance from Moscow Kremlin, main sights (Red Square, the former KGB building, Christ the Savior Catherdal, Seven sisters and New Maidens Convent) and leading business centers of Moscow. The hotel will be the first piece of contemporary architecture in Tverskaya street. All the Russian motifs will be represented inside the hotel.
The building has 9 stores, 203 rooms 19 of which are suites. Hotel interiors will be designed with elements of Russian style and elements associated with Russian history and culture, from Russian ballet to Moscow architectural monuments, like Stalin skyscrapers and Moscow Metro stations.
At the guests' disposal will be Russian cuisine restaurant Chekhonte. It will be all-day dining restaurant, featuring traditional Russian recipes in a stunning, modern presentation. The restaurant features a show-kitchen, a private dining room and a wine room. Inviting and informal ProKoffiev Bar will serve decadent chocolate dishes and a great selection of coffees and teas during the day and fantastic cocktails in the evening.
Spa-center of the hotel will offer to guests services with elements of Russian sauna tradition.
The hotel will open by the end of this year.
