Elevated road to new terminal of Vhukovo airport finally opened

Elevated road leading directly to departure level of new terminal of Vnukovo airport has finally opened. The new terminal, called also Terminal A serves all the domestic flights except ones carried out by Sky Express low cost air carrier. You can pull into this road from Kievskoye and Borovskoye highways as well. New road unclogs neighboring streets and parkings of Vnukovo.

Earlier it was possible to get to the new terminal from the ground level only and lines appeared because of this and because of the new security measures. All the people entering the airport go through the metal detector. Passengers of Aeroexpress trains entered the building from underground floor.

Now considerable part of the passengers will use new gate on the second level the elevate road leads to. It will unclog street going to the airport. Till the last time all the transport following to the airport moved down this two-lane street, parked cars stood here too making it worse. Now the traffic jams seem to disappear, but the airport asks not to use the elevated road for parking, but only for taking passengers and dropping passengers.
