 The Economic Forum Starts Today

An International Economic Forum starts today in St. Petersburg. 

      The Forum will be attended by Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, Tarja Halonen, President of Finland, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and a number of panelists from over 700 companies. The main topics to discuss are: Ensuring global economic growth, Building a creative capital in Russia, and Horizon-expanding technologies, according to Ruvr.

      Today, June 16, British singer Sting will perform at Palace Square in a private show for the attendees of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. 

      The Forum ends on Saturday, June 18.
