Air company of Aeroflot has made the first passenger flight on Super Jet 100. It was on June, 16 on line Moscow-St. Petersburg. This route will be the main for the jet within the nearest months. Today, on June, 17th Super Jet is to make a flight Moscow-Nizhniy Novgorod.

      Regular flights Nizhniy Novgorod-Moscow carried out on Tu-134 aircrafts were stopped because of fuel inefficiency of these aircrafts in 2005 and resumed recently, in June, 2011. Till now the aircrafts used on this line were Airbuses A320. This direction is very important for air carrier, because its first flight on July, 15, 1923 was exactly Moscow-Nizhniy Novgorod.

      Super Jet 100 is a medium-range aircraft, taking on board 87 passengers, 12 in business class and 75 in economy. This year Aeroflot is planning to obtain 9 Super Jets this year. Total amount of aircrafts of this model ordered by Aeroflot by developers is 30 jets.
