Russian authorities announced that all science and technology parks are welcome to join a new association of high-technology establishments.

      The association will coordinate science and technology parks in expert evaluations, various contests, and help contact with Skolkovo innovation centre. The idea is to create a platform for communications between members of high-tech industry.The programme on technology park establishment has been extended for 4 more years until 2014. Funds for the programme come from federal budget, as well as local budgets of regions, where parks are being opened.
