Primorye Welcomes Mazda

The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and Mazda signed an agreement on industrial assembly of cars in Primorye region.

      It is planned to invest about 80 million dollars in the project. The production facilities of the plant will amount to 25-50 thousand cars per year. The new plant will produce Mazda 6 cars and a new model of Mazda. 

      Mazda is the last Japanese autoconcern to sign an agreement on cars assembly in Russia. Previously, the same agreements were signed with Toyota, Suzuki and Mitsubishi companies.
