Sergei Bodrov has disclosed the budget of his new film – a fantasy feature titled The Seventh Son.

      The cost of the film presently being shot in the USA, will make 100 million dollars. The leading roles in the new film are played by Julianne Moore, Jeff Bridges and Ben Barnes.

      The story of the film based on Joseph Delaney’s book “Revenge of the Witch” (aka “The Spook's Apprentice” in the English version) hinges on a boy who discovers supernatural powers in himself. For example, he can see various sorts of mythical creatures, which are not visible to mere mortals.

      Warner Bros Company is engaged in production of the film, which is planned to be released in 2013. The project has been on the anvil since 2005. Since then among the film directors there have been Tim Burton and Kevin Lima.

      Apart from The Seventh Son Sergei Bodrov is now busy with the project Blood Brothers that he is the director and coauthor of. Channing Tatum will play the lead in the film.
