Russian authorities announced their intention to pay close attention to Arctic natural resources. All ecological standards will be followed during industrial processes, the government promises.

      Apart from exploration, Russian Arctic needs a good clean-up, since it is covered with rubbish, including barrels with fuel and lubricants, which have been left there by humans.

      The government believes that a fragile ecosystem of the Arctic region needs help to be restored. Moreover, customs and traditions of indigenous people of the northern regions also should not be violated or disturbed.
