Volga is Gone

The Volga brand, owned by the Gorky Automobile Plant, will be no more. The GAZ company decided to get rid of it. 

      Recently the company sold under Volga brand Chrysler Sebring cars.

      According to the president of the Gorky Automobile Plant Bo Anderson, the company's management has concluded that  it is unreasonably to have its own brand. The head of the plant reported, that the production capacity of the GAZ plant will be used to with with foreign automakers. 

      Disclosing future plans, Bo Anderson says, that GAZ will focus on the production of  Volkswagen and General Motors cars. In addition, it is expected, that  Skoda Octavia, Skoda Yeti, Volkswagen Jetta and the Chevrolet Aveo will soon to be assembled at the facilities of the Gorky Automobile Plant.
