Nizhny Novgorod State University currently hosts two scientific meetings – VII Congress on Plant Physiology and an international school for young scientists “Innovations in biology for development of agricultural industry”.

      The meeting is an opportunity to discuss scientific issues for over 7000 participants from Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. All kinds of plant issues are discussed – photosynthesis, stress, genome studies and etc.

      Special attention was paid to effect of heavy metals on plants and environment with methods of its elimination. Young scientists are able to visit lectures of eminent research in plant physiology.
