Yekaterinburg Archeologists Unearth Ancient Factory

Unique monument of Ural metallurgy - one of the first ironworks factories in the Urals has been found during archeological excavations in Yekaterinburg.
      
      According to archeologist Sergey Pogorelov, the discovered Uktussky Factory is unique because it is 300 years old. A timber-earthen dam has miraculously withstood the test of time in this factory.
      
      It is a unique object, which will be shortly given the scientific status and will be protected as a cultural heritage site Sergey Pogorelov mentioned.
      A museum complex is expected to be founded at the site of the ancient factory.
