Russian engineers have built a new communication device for Global Maritime Distress and Safety System, which can be installed on both civil and military vessels.

      The communication device contains small and reliable UHW (ultra-short waves) and HF (short wave) components with variable power and digital selective calling with control system, based upon distributed information interactions.

      Global Maritime Distress and Safety System provides technical means, infrastructure and regulations for fast and effective help during sailing, as well as provides safety during navigation in World ocean.
