Russia's largest financial bank Sberbank has increased the net profit by 2,8, up to 171,3 billion rubles in the first half of 2011 year.
By 2010 year Sberbank had a record profit of 174 billion rubles and expects that this year the company will earn 230-250 million rubles. For comparison, in 2009 Sberbank earned 21,7 billion rubles.
According to Reuters, Sberbank' assets, which account for a third of overall assets in the Russian banking system, had risen by 5 percent to almost 9 trillion roubles since the start of the year.
