Out of 15 missing passengers of the Bulgaria ship, 6 have survived, the Tatar Ministry of Domestic Affairs reported Tuesday. Having lost their mobile phones in the Volga River, they could not make any contact with the world.Nine people are still counted as missing.
The bodies of several passengers are still expected to be found in the cabins on board of the ship. Sadly, it is also possible that the bodies may be found in the poacher nets that abound in the Volga. 170 of such nets have so far been confiscated.
The lifting of the Bulgaria ship from the bottom of the Volga River has turned out to be an extremely arduous process, due to the stormy weather in the region. It was the storm, too, that led to the shipwreck on July 10, 2011.
The captains of two passing ships that did not stop to help Bulgaria have been questioned and ordered to not leave the country.
