Cruises to Chukotka are getting more and more popular among foreign tourists

A new summer tour season was opened on the 30th of June, which coincided with the beginning of the international navigation.
      

This year the local harbours are prepared to receive ten international cruise ships. In the beginning of July the motor ship "Bremen" was in Provideniya Bay, another motor ship "Professor Hromov" brought international guests to Anadyr. The ship movement will be held in differrent directions this year, including the Northern Sea Route.
      

Border service, in turn, worked a lot to make the frontier crossing as comfortable as possible. Consequently, tourists will be able to spend more time on a sightseeing tour and cultural programme. Along with the cruises most popular kinds of tourism in Chukotka are ecological, extreme, and business ones. Visitors from 58 countries come here every year. USA, the Philippines,Germany and Australia are top four countries from where tourists come.
