On Tuesday three female fans of Dmitry Medvedev took their clothes off for the support the recent anti-alcohol legislation, which was signed by the Russian president last week.
      

The "Medvedev Girls" organized their event in one of Moscow's central squares. They offered a striptease in exchange for audience emptying out of their bottles of beer. Many young men responded positively to their call and parted with their beer without hesitation, filling a big barrel with it. When the liquid reached a certain level, three of the girls stripped down to their bikini. 
      "There is nothing wrong with it. No one is embarrassed when he or she goes to the beach and sees people wearing swim-wear. Young people should look at pretty girls rather than at beer bottles", one of the  girls told the journalists. 
      

But not everyone in the square was impressed by that event and agreed to give up their beer. “Why would I give up my beer?” asked one man. “I can see my girlfriend undress for me.”
      

Many other people expressed their opinion that such action was quite stupid and its only purpose was to attract attention to the girls. Anyway, the organizers considered their action successful.
      

Medvedev Girls are all members of the group “Medvedev is our president", formed at Russia’s most popular social network, Vkontakte. They deny any connection to official state and political organizations.
