Four people were injured, at least two of them seriously, when a BMW X5 car crashed into a bus stop in central Moscow early on Wednesday, reported by the police.
The driver, who had been trapped inside the crumpled car until police arrived, is in a grave condition. According to the latest news, he is an officer of the Moscow public prosecutor's office. Two passengers of his car were his assistants. They and a female passerby were the other three injured. The woman received a serious head injury and has suffered a major blood loss, her husband said.
The accident occurred soon after 1 am (21:00 GMT) on Wednesday. At least four other cars parked nearby, including a Porsche Cayenne, were also damaged in the crash.
The Moscow public prosecutor's office is now conducting a compliance review of the accident. According to RIA Novosti's sources, there wasn't any alñohol in car passengers' blood.
