This weekend usual many-kilometers-long traffic jams may become even longer in Moscow. Traffic collapse may occur in the capital.
Only the most patient drivers may leave Moscow this weekend. The experts warn about huge traffic jams caused by traffic works. The repair works will be held nearly on all highways in Moscow region. This is officially reported by Moscow region traffic police (GIBDD).
The repair works will include changing asphalt, building new lines and marking. The Moscow region highways used to be closed before as well. Nevertheless the drivers note, repair works cause traffic jams rather often. Asphalt is changed on some highways nearly every year.
According to Moscow mayor trains can become a good alternative to cars. Railway has a good potential. So for travelling out of Moscow it is better to use a train.
