Two bears locked in Kupchino are released

Two brown bears were found locked in a garage in Kupchino near St. Petersburg. They have been living there for a year and a half.

Only today morning the police have met the owner of the bears who has released the bears after this. The garage was searched by the police. It occurred that bears were living in terrible conditions. There were neither food nor water there. But it was very dirty.

The officials of Public Prosecutor’s Office have decided to move the bears to a quarantine center at least for a month.

According to provisional data the bear owner used the bears to make business. To make photos with the bears and to invite them to parties is popular among tourists and residents.
