Russia to Build the First Space Hotel in the World

Russia has claimed about its plans to create a unique space hotel on the Earth orbit. It may host seven people in four cabins. The guests may enjoy the Earth views from the hotel.

The journey to the hotel will be an adventure as well. The guests may get there by the rocket Soyuz for two days. Five days on the orbit will cost 4.7 mln Rubles (157 000$), the 23.5 mln Rubles (784 000$) for transport.

The hotel or The Commerce Space Station (its official name) may be opened by 2016.

The hotel is expected to be much more comfortable than International Space Station, which is used by cosmonauts and astronauts.
