The famous Arkhangelskoye estate may be sold out. The land, which used to be owned by the Ministry of Defense and then given to the museum on the Right of the Perpetual Use in mid 90es, is put out to tender. Now the Russia’s historic heritage may become a private property.
“The very essence and reason of building this estate is being killed and is vanishing,” said the Director of the Museum-estate Vladimir Dlugach.
The stating price for lot is 600 mln Rubles for 20 hectares of land. It is about 10 000 $ for one hundred square meters.
“We realize the real value of Arkhangelskoye estate. The cost of one hundred square meters on the bank of the river may reach 100 thousand USD,” say realtors.
