MAKS 2011 Closed with $10 billion Contracts Signed

Over $10 billion contracts were signed on International Aviation and Space salon MAKS 2011. It is a record sum in comparison with previous years.

International Aviation and Space salon MAKS 2011 was closed on Sunday. The flight of MIG-29 OVT fighter crowned the flight demonstration program.

About 440 thousand people have visited MAKS 2011; 55 thousand of them attended the aviation salon in the last working day.    

For the six days of MAKS 2011 work the visitors could see 240 air jets. More than 90 of them took part in the flight program. In the last day the demonstration program was shortened because of bad weather conditions.
