The North Korean leader Kim Jong-il may spend a week in Russia. His armored train crossed Russian border on August 20 near the river Tumannaya.
The program of North Korean leader in Russia is visiting Far East and Siberian federal areas, reports the Kremlin press service. The main event of his visit is meeting the Russia’s president.
It is the third visit of Kim Jong-il in Russia. First time the North Korean leader arrived in Russia in 2001. It took him three weeks for a return journey from North Korea to St. Petersburg through Primorye and Moscow and back. In 2002 Kim Jong-il visited Russia again, but he was only in Vladivostok, Khabarovsk and Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
