Russia and North Korea have worked out the way of solving North Korean debt to the former USSR

The leaders of the two countries have talked over the ways of North Korea’s paying out debt to the former USSR on the high-level meeting in Ulan-Ude on 24th August, said a source in the Russian delegation.

“The fact of revival of North Korean debt reconstruction is estimated as a big breakthrough,” added he.

The Deputy Finance Minister Sergey Storchak told on Wednesday, that the sides are discussing the debt in amount of 11 bln USD given to the North Korea by the USSR.
