Exhibits of Salvador Dali Museum-Theater in Figueres have arrived in Moscow to be displayed in the Pushkin Fine Arts Museum.
22 paintings, 90 graphic pictures, a range of surrealistic art objects and personal photos of Salvador Dali will be exhibited in Moscow. The well-known artist Boris Messerer is engaged in transforming the Pushkin Museum into a surrealistic labyrinth. In particular, he will reproduce the cornice with alternating eggs and trapezoid designs. Visitors will get a chance to sit on the famous Dali lips-shaped sofa and enter inside the well-known Dali room in the form of Mae West’s face. Nose-fireplace, hair-curtains, and eyes-paintings will be seen through a special diorama.
The exhibition will be designed in deep black and red tints, which are used in the Dalí Museum-Theater in Figueres.
The surrealistic exposition will be opened from September, 3rd.
