Myasnikov Museum of One Painting in Penza has joined the top three of the best museums of the world.

The press-service of the regional administration informed about the fact with a reference to the list made by the well-known magazine Forbes. It has selected six most remarkable museums. Penza Museum of one painting is the third on the list.

Periodically in the world exhibitions of one work of art are held, there are galleries or studios displaying only one painting or statue, - the Forbes reads. - But the Museum of One Painting has existed only in Russia, and for a long time already, since 1983.

The Forbes list also includes Vase Museum in Stockholm, the Shroud of Turin Museum in Turin, the Freedom Bell museum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the Moon Museum.
