3D Highway Comes To Life In Krasnoyarsk

An unusual experiment was carried out in Krasnoyarsk. Two pedestrian crossings appeared beside the school in Soviet district.

The effect of dimension is made by light-reflecting colours and the geometry of its painting. It is supposed that the passage will be more visible for drivers than the usual zebra crossing. In the evening 3d crossings turn into "logs", so the drivers can see them better and have enough time to slow down.

The official of the city Mikhail Malihin said that Krasnoyarsk is the first city to have such technology. Now it is in the period of probation to see its efficiency.

Policemen and parents hope that this innovation will provoke interest of the children and they will be passing the road only at 3D spot.
