From September, 2nd to 14th the Moscow State Exhibition Hall “New Manege” will be housing an exhibition of the famous artist Dmitriy Nalbandyan dedicated to his 105th anniversary.
The exhibition presenting the artist’s selected works will be held in the framework of the celebrations of the Day of Moscow.
The exposition demonstrates all the painting genres, in which the artist brightly revealed his talents: historical painting, landscape, portrait, and still-life.
The visitors of the exhibition will see historical canvasses that made the artist famous: State Reception in the Kremlin, Stalin and Mao Zedong. Great Friendship, Meeting of Party Heads with Representatives of creative intelligentsia, and other works that have become an embodiment of the Soviet epoch. Graphic portraits of Stalin, Voroshilov, Khrushchev, Brezhnev, and other remarkable statesmen will be also displayed.
The exposition brings together canvasses from the artist’s art studio-museum, as well as works from various exhibition halls.
