Unique Wheel Motorship Will Start Its Voyage

The new motorship is meant for conveyance of 150 passengers simultaneously. It is equipped with diesel fuel and biofuel engines. Besides, it has 75 centimetres draught, which allows to use it on the ripples, inaccessible for usual cruise motorships, particularly, on the rivers Volga and Oka in the region of Nizhny Novgorod and neighbour areas.

After the beginning of exploitation, the motorship will start a voyage from Nizhny Novgorod at the Gor'kov Sea to Makarievsky monastery and Murom in the region of Vladimir.

Such wheel motorships are exploited very successfully and keep on being built in the USA. Efficiency of this type of motorships is higher than the other ones.
