Ethnographic complex Fish Village in Kaliningrad has been embellished with quite an unusual monument – an enormous forged boot of Baron Munchhausen.

According to Alexander Zakharov, president of the Munchhausen’s Grandkids club, anybody can now try on the boot of “the most truthful person in the world”. At the same time, journalists and politicians have to be careful with Munchhausen’s footwear: “whoever has tried the boot on at once starts telling the truth, which can be sometimes dangerous for these categories of citizens”, - Mr. Zakharov explained.
