Puppet Exhibition Opens in Moscow Underground
Sergey Obraztsov

A puppet exhibition organized jointly with Sergey Obraztsov State Academic Central Puppet Theater has opened at the metro station Borobyovy Gory.

The exhibition is dated to the theater’s double anniversary: this year marks the 80th anniversary since its foundation and 110th anniversary since the birthday of its founder - the director and actor Sergey Obraztsov.

The exposition includes more than 40 puppets from the theater’s 9 well-known stage productions.

“The exhibition will run for 4 to 5 months, therefore all those interested can get acquainted with the unique collection of the museum” – the press-service of the Moscow metro informed.

It is not the first exhibition of the kind. In 2010 the Vorobyovy Gory metro station housed 10 glass cylindrical show-windows with the exposition Russian Porcelain.
