A monument to one of the most famous saints of the present - Blessed Teresa of Calcutta - will be unveiled by the Catholic cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Moscow on September, 24th.
The author of the monument - sculptor Grigory Pototsky - informed on it during the presentation of the monument, which took place in his Moscow studio on September, 7th.
It is important for the sculptor to time the unveiling of the monument to an almost exact coincidence of two significant dates: Mother Teresa’s 100th anniversary, which was marked all over the world a year ago, and the 100th anniversary of the Moscow Catholic Cathedral. Grigory Pototsky donates the monument to the cathedral.
