Turgoyak Lake Will Become The Character Of The Movie

Director of the movie Daria Andriyanova explained, that the movie will be telling a story about Turgoyak Lake, unique natural and cultural object, about its history and legends.

Vera Island will have a special place in the movie, as it was a cult place. Archaelogical excavations, found there ( monumental stone sculptures of animals' heads ), have no analogues in Europe.

" Our aim is to demonstrate to viewers how amazing this place is. It is important to show that Turgoyak is not just a beautiful lake with unique ecosystem, but a true historical  and cultural monument ".

First Russian informative channel together with Russian Geographical Community works at the creation of series of documentary films " 100 Wonders Of Russia ". Authors of the cycle are sure that without the movie about Turgoyak the story about Russian marvellous nature and culture would be incomplete.
